“When you discover that the grace of God is available but only think that God’s grace covers you for your mess ups and that Jesus finished the work on the cross, you never discover that grace not only covers you for your mess ups but also empowers you to stop messing up.”
Without the clear, precise knowledge of the Kingdom of God as Jesus preached it, you can call anything Christian and throw all kinds of man-made ideas into the mix.
When we don’t know enough truth to be discerning when lies and half truths present themselves as whole truth we lack the ability to discern the difference between truth and error. Truth will always sound good to us when we don’t really know what the truth is.
Success in ministry does not mean that God’s hand of favor is on someone’s labor in the gospel. Sometimes a leader’s sucess is their greatest failure because they led at deceiving people to believe what God is not in agreement with.
We are to love what God loves, and hate what God hates. We don’t hate the sinner, but we hate the sin, and we are to let sinners know that God hates sin so much that He sent His Son to redeem us, but to the rebellious and consistently unrighteous the wrath of God abides on them as children of disobedience.
Every preacher, Joel O’Steen, Jakes, Dollar, Robison, all of them were never called to give their brand of religion. Robertson, Hagee, Myers, Hickey, ……Kennedy, Falwell, Swaggart, absolutely none of them, to include your pastor, were ever called to preach “their” brand of religion, whatever that brand is, be it Conservative, Pentecostal, Charismatic, Word of Faith or any other such denominational or non-denominational or para Church group.
Every leader is called to equip the people, the saints, to do the work of the ministry and the verses that cover this reality are not talking about “Church Work”. Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers are called to equip the saints for the work of the ministry which is the work of reconciling man back to God through the preaching and teaching of the same Kingdom message and culture that Jesus preached and taught, and went to the cross and died for, that not only would we be saved from the wrath to come but we would live the God kind of life, by the God kind of faith,
through the God kind of love, because God made it so.
Because of the lack of knowledge of the Kingdom of God and the emphasis that Jesus expects us to give to it, religious men of every theological persuasion has readily come up with his own ideas about what salvation means and what the responsibility of the saints is supposed to be in this untoward generation.
It just does not matter that its T.D. Jakes who will love to hear tell stories aimed at weaving a message to encourage you to discover your greatness as you tap into your instincts. He is no more than a Les Brown, the motivational speaker teaching you how to live your dreams now. We can be impressed with a James Robison who seems to have such a grasp of the heart of God for hurting souls, without the knowledge of the Kingdom of God as Jesus preached it, the ministry still fails to equip the saints to do the work of Kingdom ministry.
And as you listen to Creflo Dollar and Joseph Prince artfully teach on the gospel of grace, without the knowledge of the Kingdom of God you will not be able to perceive their misuse of the message of grace and you will continue to send them money because you think you are helping them to preach the gospel.
Jesus did not send His disciples to preach the “gospel of grace”. He sent them to preach the gospel of the Kingdom that you now have access to through grace. So when these men are preaching what they call the “gospel of grace” they are preaching the good news that Jesus paid it all, but they are not preaching the good news Jesus preached which was that the Kingdom has arrived. When you discover that the grace of God is available but only think that God’s grace covers you for your mess ups and that Jesus finished the work on the cross, you never discover that grace not only covers you for your mess ups but also empowers you to stop messing up.
The knowledge of the Kingdom of God is the knowledge of God’s royal rule, authority and act of ruling over and through the life of the Believer. The knowledge of the Kingdom of God is the knowledge of God’s original plan to make man in His God’s own image and likeness and to restore Him back to that original image and likeness through the abundance of grace and gift of righteousness that enables man to reign with Christ in this life and in the millennial reign of the Kingdom of God.
Friends it does not matter what preacher you have developed itching ears for, or the size of the ministries, their homes and their cars. The question of the day is……..”Is your leader teaching you the Kingdom of God and how to advance the Kingdom throughout the nations of the world as you fulfill Jesus Kingdom mandate that you would go forth and make disciples, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Ghost, teaching them to observe (know to do) all things whatsoever Jesus commanded (to include all that Jesus commanded concerning the Kingdom of God)?
Now we are not to be mad at these blind guides who have led many into a ditch. But we are to first for ourselves, begin to study the Kingdom of God as a child, and then we are to live the reality of the Kingdom driven life daily, making God’s Kingdom and righteousness our number one priority. Much of the preaching and teaching that is done on TV and in many a local assembly today would cease to be needed if men and women would return to the words of Jesus and follow His every instruciton concerning the Kingdom of God.
Christian TV, book publishing, gospel music publishing and the like is big business. Those who are in the higher echelons of money getting ministries become seduced by the wealth that keeps on coming so they keep cranking out new products (books, tapes, CDs and DVDs to keep the wealth coming in so that the ministry machine is oiled and the leaders temporal needs are fulfilled.
I just heard the Holy Ghost say this; “Please, do not conclude that this deception is exclusive to Charismatic ministry. For those mainstream ministries long time regarded as the bastions of integrity have not learned of Me and understood the Kingdom agenda to which God has called every man to serve the King.”
Joel Osteen, Creflo Dollar, Joseph Prince, Rod Parsley, John Hagee, James Robison, T.D. Jakes, Jimmy Swaggart, and yes, Kenneth Copeland, Kenneth Hagin…….no doubt all people who love God, but missed the Kingdom message Jesus came preaching.
The late D. James Kennedy, the late G.E. Patterson, the late Donald Barnhouse, and Bishop Charles Blake, Billy and Franklin Graham, Marilyn Hickey, John MacArthur, Benny Hinn….these are many of the leaders over the past 50 years…..who have led the Body of Christ through their radio, TV and publishing, and no great emphasis on the Kingdom of God.
Friends multiplied millions of dollars has gone from the hands of poor and rich saints alike, whether to charismatic, word of faith, liberal or conservative ministries, and what was needed the most was the knowledge of the Kingdom message Jesus preached and the culture that comes as a result of submission to the King.
Meet us every Monday – Friday for Rebirthing of A Kingdom Nation International Teleconference and Prayer Line 5:00 AM (Eastern Time) Dial: (Outside the US +1) 857-232-0155, Code:268272 Join us tonight at 8:30 PM for School of The Kingdom where we will be teaching on “Why Teach The Kingdom” That is tonight (Tuesday).
The Kingdom of God is present now, and to come. It is time that you rediscover the Kingdom, your identity, purpose and divine destiny as you make God’s Kingdom and righteousness your number one priority according to Matthew 6:33.
Without the clear, exact knowledge of the Kingdom of God and the lifestyle that is the results of submission to the King, you will continue to look for the guidance of these leaders to give you truths that will help you to experience your breakthrough and you will never discover the full extent to which God has made you a nation of kings and priests before Him. Variations of man-made religion will continue to dominate where the King is supposed to reign.
STUDY THE KINGDOM
